It is understood that Lana Liebig passed away following a motor cehicle accident June 10, 2003.  Below is an exerpt from the Calgary Herald relating to the accident.

"On June 10th at approx 8:30 am. members of the Olds RCMP detachment supported by the Innisfail Freeway Patrol attended a motor vehicle accident east of Olds on Highway 27. Investigation at this point would indicate that both vehicles, a large semi truck and a sport utility vehicle were travelling eastbound at the time the collision occurred. As a result of the accident the driver of the SUV was transported by S.T.A.R.S. to a Calgary Hospital with undetermined injuries. The driver of the semi truck was uninjured. The names of those involved had not been released at press time. The matter is still under investigation"... Calgary Harold Section B June 11, 2003
